And I appreciate all the time and effort you have put into finding a solution. ![]() Thanks for providing such detailed information when accessing your QuickBooks Desktop account. Has anyone seen this problem before and how to resolve it? I have run the Tool Hub Program Problems (Items 1 and 2) but that hasn't helped. I am not the only one using the software. What I don't know is how long it takes before it starts giving problems again. That works, and I am able to continue my work. The only way I have been able to resolve this problem is to reboot the computer (Windows 11) and then startup QBDT. Go to File, then select Open or Restore Company if you dont have your company file open. Open your new version of QuickBooks Desktop. But if I relaunch QBDT, the same problem. Make sure all users sign out of your company file. The only solution I is to go into Task Manager and kill the task. In fact, all I get is the beeping noise when I hit anything, including trying to close QBDT in the upper right-hand corner. When I try to enter the password the next time, the program has locked up. I hit return and get the error message wrong password. Instead, the only indication that you are entering anything is in the upper left-hand corner of the password box, there appears something but it is so small I can't identify it. The password box is shaded, and when I type the password you can't see the dots. I will know immediately if I am going to have an issue by the way the login screen presents itself. I will start QBDT and get the login screen. We recently updated from QBDT Contractor Edition 2020 and never had this problem. ![]()
